As for Tradition, UNC has just as much Tradition as UK. Practically just as many wins

Well, first of all, UNC does not have as many wins as Kentucky and until they do, Kentucky is No. 1!!!!

Now, let's discuss TRADITION!! As McGuire stated, no school even comes close to the TRADITION that Kentucky has. When a college has seven (7) NCAA Championship titles hanging from the rafters of a jammed packed 23,500+ seat arena representing titles from the 40's,50's, 70's and 90's and you could fill all the seats at Commonwealth Stadium's soon to be expanded 69,000 seats for Kentucky basketball , maybe, just m-a-y-b-e you may have another college with some tradition. I attended the regionals in St. Louis this past weekend, as I have attended most of the regionals and finals the last several, several years and the scene was typical. Of the regional record breaking crowd of 42,500+ for the MSU game, maybe 4000-5000 fans were in green, one small section. The rest was BLUUUUUUE! This is TRADITION! as I have been attending Kentucky games for over 40 years now!!

Yes, Duke and UNC have excellent programs, but TRADITION is a word reserved for Kentucky. Come to Lexington next year, be my guest. Hell I will give you a ticket, even though I can easily sell it for $200 or more and experience what TRADITION is all about!!!

Now as far as The Dean has a far better rep than Rupp that could be possible true and I will give you that one without pulling the books out, buttttt...you are comparing different eras. Many of Rupp's seasons in the 30's and 40's were maybe just 20 games or so and many years it was less than that, whereas today, your better programs, the teams have 30 or more victories alone. But remember, Rupp is the Baron!!!
