Since I've been unhelpful recently...bargain alert <g.> buy.com has some unusually great prices at the moment: ensoniq audio PCI $18.95 (net -$1.05! See soundblaster.com ) or, for a more high-end card, SB Live Value $54.95 ATI Xpert 128 $88.95 net $58.95 (rebate coupon with card.) This is great so far in 95 and NT. Dave I really like what I've seen of IE 5. Much faster, lots of little tweaks. I agree...Iwas previously using Communicator 4.5 until I had newsgroup problems and switched to the IE 5.0 beta. I prefer this IE package by a mile. That would be the same mile that I want to keep between me and any AOL endeavors<gg> Bye Bye Netscape.. it eventually freezes both itself and some other apps (but not all) requiring a reset to recover from (not even ending processes via task manager will kill it. Thats a bummer..and I'm sorry your having those problems. Like I said I've been using ie 5 for a couple o months starting with the beta that I dwldd when I first was setting up this machine and I've not had a ie related freeze up yet. I do not know why ie 4 would work for you but not ie 5 if the problem was elsewhere than the ie 5 app itself. Maybe you should try another dwldd. Clarence
