doesn't sound right.. he should call back.. I've been able to sell by talking directly to a broker in the past, on a name change.. and they waived the extra broker fee but found I needed to follow up later to make sure they matched the sold shares, new symbol, with the bought shares old symbol.. discovered they were showing a short position on my acct with BIDN!! yikes..got it corrected, & yes, I sold WAY too early on that one.
