Unless Zeev knows of something other than the ZYGO/IBM relationship that you referenced then what we could be seeing is a selling climax of sorts combined with portfolio dressup (down in this case) by fund managers. I would prefer that it took place a couple of days from now but...

I checked this with VECO IR today. The above is incorrect. It appears IBM really did react badly to VECO's Digital Acquisition and there is not a significant VECO-IBM relationship at this time. VECO's present major accts are SEG, QNTM, Read-Rite, Applied Magnetics and several others that I cannot immediately recall.

She did say they are comfortable with analyst's current quarterly estimates and from VECO's perspective, they have no new announcements to explain the share price drop.

I am disappointed about this IBM development though.
