O/T timeout - I don't see any self-proclaimed anything here... If I am a ''self-proclaimed'' anything - it would be ''one of the hardest working STUDENTS of the'patch & the markets'' - period. a ''Self Proclaimed Guru'' ? Gimmie a break - Merely an equal among others... and yes; I do like to jabber - guilty. PS - it is out of my moral obligation to Net-dom that I choose to uncloak the pretenders....period. I simply think that on occassion the curtain should and must be pulled back to expose the self proclaimed ''old -time experts'' who have done nothing but publically embarass themselves due to their total lack of homework of late. These guys have not spent 20 minutes doing their homework in the last 6-9 months. They are totally out of touch - they trot back in 1 year later and throw out all of these sterotypical - time warped platitudes and we are suppposed to take them as the gospel - because they were here in August 1997 ? - gimmie a break. One month ago they do the ''Doom & Gloom Dance'' then want us to forget ? Anytime some Emperor who isn't wearing any clothes comes parading about & spewing; I'm going to point and laugh - period. ...get over it. Once again - Real ''Bears'' are allways welcome - mere ''Cubs'' will be eaten, skinned and turned into rugs...<VBG>. - you won't see me ever criticize any logical, factual bearishness - damn, I got criticized for taking profits on the run up and echoing comments that dayrates and utilization were NOT at a point to actually change the bottom line on the drillers & service stocks and as such, I was rotating into E&P's... I got criticized for selling - and cautioning that some, or much of these gains - (especially prior to the actual OPEC deal being announced) were being priced into these stocks - first I'm too bullish, then I'm not bullish enough... Well, how does the old song go ? You can't please everyone - so you might as well please yourself... ''Bears with Balls'' - let's hear it - give us your best shot; or forever hold your peace.... Lets hear the Bearish arguement - let 'er rip. I'm gone for a day here - let's see what you guys got...<VBG>... here come the platitudes...
