What's you're point "smartinvestor"? Are you suggesting that the market makers should have become long NSOL to keep daytraders like yourself interested in the name?

Market makers are "in the moving business, not the storage business". Your fantasies about them setting prices by "manipulating shares down" or "pushing them higher" are no more than that. The only way for market makers to move stocks higher or lower is to get long or short themselves. If in fact they are doing that, then they are acting no differently than any other market participant that has a position in the stock. You may as well rail against retail buyers, hedge funds, mutual funds, or anyone else for that matter.
