According to IMS America, for the week ending March 5, 1999, 4,841 Periostat prescriptions were filled by retail pharmacies, representing an annualized sales run-rate of $8.5 million (our sales estimate for CY 1999 is $12.0 million). This prescription figure is up 35% from the 3,597 prescriptions filled in the week ending February 5, 1999.
