Both CMGI and LCOS were strong from the start today, DW has been very quiet for a few days, maybe I am reading too much into all this, but it might be that something is up.

As to Mr. Diller, they did a terrible job selling the concept, I have yet to hear a response to an e-mail I sent to both LCOS and USA to send me en explanation (CMGI did answer!!!!!)if Mr. Diller had put in ALL of his properties it might have made sense, but not the way they set it up. Thus, the market voted and it was very clear, that is what markets are about, what will he say if there is a better offer?

End of quarter window dressing by fund managers could be a contributing factor.

Re: CMGI's move today ... could be that it was simply recapturing portion of its losses that were due largely to broader market factors. Big move in Nasdaq composite late in the trading day helped carry CMGI from low of 3+ to 12+ ... if techs continue to rally this week we should be back into 190 territory by Friday ... loved that bounce off of 163 ...

CMGI is a stock with a great deal of volatility. As a result, the cumulative affect of shareholder expectations, fear, and greed cause the stock to swing more dramatically in the normal course of business than a stock with a lesser volatility.

I view today's move neither positively nor negatively - just that it is trading with a higher than average implied volatility.

Hope this helps, Jenne.
