IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 1999-- Freerealtime.com. Inc., (OTCBB:FRTI), a leading branded content provider of online, real-time stock market quotes and on-line financial services, today announced that it has signed a contract with Andover, MA-based Adsmart, one of Internet's leading interactive advertising networks and brand sales organizations.
Adsmart, a majority-owned subsidiary of CMGI, Inc, (NASDAQ:CMGI), currently represents 175 premier Web Brands, such as Freerealtime.com, that provide not only the reach - with 1.2 billion impressions per month - but also the focus and quality that attracts advertisers. Under the terms of the contract, Freerealtime.com will be represented by Adsmart to applicable advertisers within their on-line network and to other organizations synergistic to Freerealtime's marketing goals. The one-year contract has a minimum revenue guarantee which should result in a substantial increase in Freerealtime's advertising revenue when compared to fiscal 1998. The contract can be extended in twelve-month increments.
