Thanks for your response. But the company press release also says that they "intend to take all steps available to have the dissident
meeting cancelled". Do you know what these steps might be?
What I can't understand is how the dissidents could announce such a meeting and have the proxies and circulars distributed by brokerage houses. Can anyone call a special meeting? I thought you had to have at least 5% of the shareholders in order to call such a meeting.
5% is at least 1,500,000 shares. And I thought the Board of Directors would have to call the Special Meeting.
The dissidents say that they represent 9.1% of "Concerned Shareholders" (62 Direct and Beneficial Shareholders) although they do not list them. 9.1% is at least 2.7Million +.
How will we know when the company takes the appropriate steps so that we will not have to vote these proxies?
In my opinion, Bob Gardner has been doing a superlative job and these dissidents are basically trying to undercut the progress that he has made since the beginning of the year. I have spoken with Bob
many times over the past three to four years and regard him as honest and trustworthy. We must stand by him in this matter.
