>>Differences between T and WCOM<<
Oh great traveler of time, comparing WCOM to T reminds me of an earlier comparison of conflicting views and opinions; MSFT vs IBM. WCOM would be better compared to MSFT. I wonder what people will say about WCOM 20 years from now...

WCOM vs MSFT
Bill had 2 choices; build a platform for a couple mindless drones at IBM or a platform for the ignorant masses.
Bern had 2 choices; build a platform for a couple mindless drones that want phone access on the go or a platform for the masses.

Their decisions;
Bill-The Windows lineup; a point and click computer interface easy enough for a monkey to use.
Bern-World Wide Data Access; with a 50' cord anyone sitting by a pool can download anything from anywhere in the world.

MSFT did not crush IBM and WCOM will not crush T. But as MSFT drove off and left IBM behind, so may WCOM do to a T.

Only Time will tell.
