From the same site there was this link to the RIVA web site's article about 32 vs 16 bit rendering: planetriva.com; From their examples I couldn't see any difference at all!! LOL! Way to go!!

Looks like V3 release at Best Buys was incorrect. Take it for what it's worth, but I drove by two best buys today, one had locations on the shelves for V3 and other did not. Spoke to a salesperson and he said that they had not arrived yet. Remember at the launch of V2 last year, Best Buys had prepared shelf space before the product arrived. I believe they also did the same with SB live. The worst part is that the guy I spoke to tried to talk me out of the V3 before it even got there. First thing out of his mouth was "you know the only difference with the V3 is that it has faster framerates"... , and he is not the only retail store salesperson who seems to have a negative bias towards V3.
