Mr. Gilles Laverdiere reports
Gilles Laverdiere has been named president of the company.
Mr. Laverdiere is an experienced geologist who has been involved in numerous
base and precious metal exploration and mining projects throughout North
America, Asia and Brazil.
Mr. Laverdiere also has experience in Nevada and was instrumental during the
acquisition process of the Railroad project, a 50-square-mile property in the
Carlin Trend.
Mr. Laverdiere also has a long history of public company administration and
management, and was the original co-founder and president of Mirandor. He will
be able to guide the company as the development of its Nevada gold projects
accelerate.
James L. Speros has resigned as president but will remain active as a board
member.
The company's originally announced private placement in January has been
withdrawn.
The company looks forward to the startup of the 1999 exploration and drilling
campaign in Nevada.
