Does anyone here have any insight into MSFT's wireless technologies??

The recent post I just made regarding CDMA technology, CWSS and now this article:

rd.yahoo.com*http://www.fool.com/community/threads/1999/990325.htm?jBa1AtRK=1

has jump started my curiosity about this field which is little talked about. Frankly, the market has pretty much slammed the entire notion of wireless internet access for the past three years.

Any comments?

Teflon: re: CDMA
There has been some talk/speculation (innuendo) in the media that in response to all the furor about the missile-technology thefts/spying by the Chinese, the Chinese premier might play the "CDMA" card during his visit to the US in April. China currently backs GSM, but may possibly hint at switching over to CDMA as their preferred platform to assuage the hawks, with some friendly prodding from the likes of Qualcomm etc.
