I thought one of you electrical engineers dissected some W-CDMA specs. and concluded it is not even a realistic proposal yet.

Clark-
The deal was essential to ensuring early deployment of CDMA into to China. That is a hell of a lot of royalties, not to mention phones and asics. China is the future of qcom.

Nobody makes chips or handsets for that so why shouldnt we able to compete..
