Thanks for your response.
In the meantime, I called Fidelity Brokerage and asked them what criteria they have in place for sending out Notices of Special Meetings et al. Their representative said that they forward any material sent to Fidelity to the registered shareholders if requested to do so.
Per their representative, he said that to be on the safe side we probably should return the proxies voting to keep the present management in place if that is what we want.
Inasmuch as you are in the investment business, do you think that is necessary?

I have printed out your post and am having it engraved for a great wall plaque of the most idiotic quotes of all times.

I think I'll place it right under the one from the Commissioner of Patents who in 1895 recommended to the Congress the USPTO be closed because "everything of any possible value has already been invented."
