Jim, Dell is by far the most overpriced stock in a commodity area. They could have their price cut by 2/3s and still be the most overpriced stock in the pc area. I think they will. A halfway decent commodity producer with a totally ridiculous monopoly multiple. Gateway's numbers are extremely suspicious thanks to the underwear scam. Neither firm has any chance in the sub $1000 market because, in Gateway's case, they are too inefficient, and in Dell's case, they will try to hold margins, which won't work.
