Lew, I hope there is a offer that is acceptable to the partner ship.
I have heard some rumors that I did not like one bit....and of course called a company the minute I read it....I was assured that the senario was not going to happen, but I do not know wether to believe them or not (they could get out voted). I was told lease property payments were made and we are paid up till 2002....and it would be 6 months at least for discovery to occur....Now like all attorneys why would they settle now when they can milk this for another six months and still convince Weatherford they are heros. Never seen them do it before....friggin parasites anyway.....DD

Lew. I also wondered about a couple of volumes
y'day.JED's 100k with only 1 trade,and price up by
2cents.Also TNP.U doing 484k.That is really hi
volume for them, but the price went down for theirs.
It made me think there could very well be a lot of
po'd former Profco shareholders,as that price was
near .60 and higher when the merger occurred.Seems
strange their price is so low since they are
producing quite a lot of oil now esp.in the light
of recently improving oil prices. Was watching for
hi volumes again today but never seen much of that.
<<<A small chance we will have another counter
offer within the next two weeks>>>Question:Do you
mean we have received at least one offer already??
If so,any details?-I sure hope our side is not too
greedy!IMOO,I don't know of any faster or better
way to generate cashflow for these jv's who really
need it than to be receiving it from salesgas from
this well (if it's as good as they seem to think it
is).Neither do I know what would compare to the
cashflow they would get from salesgas, providing it
is a real good well.Waiting for a sum of ins.money
that they may or may not get sure doesn't compare
(to my way of thinking!)
Personally,I'd be glad just to see them get
enough to cover the costs of a whipstock and get
back to work!-I'd even be glad to see them take a
loss just to get the well completed, tested, and
online. That would seem the most logical thing to
do.Also the most important.-BWTHDIK- Regards,LP
