I did a little research on the previous 7 splits, it likes to run after a split, even the previous splits.

Ed,

I agree with you on two things: 1) buyers will overwhelm the sellers before the close today; 2) the issue will gap up next Monday.

After that, I don' know. It really depends on the whole market and whether the big boys have made enough on this issue. People can still sell into the fact (good news in this case).
