I strongly believe that as a company grows and attains a certain level of success and status, they desire to keep the stock price above some given level. Furthermore the public float can get pretty
astronomical. Indeed you are correct and should have expected a split somewhere in the $60/70 range based on past actions, but I am
pretty sure that this time we are shooting the keep the stock price north of $50 (or maybe even $60). If they would have split LAST year, we would have been dealing with a $15 stock after the CIEN fiasco... something NOBODY wants
