I'm confused. I thought Novatel was a potential customer. Now it sounds like they were a sales agent. ????

I'm not sure either. Here is a portion of the press release from Dec. 29, 1998: December 29, 1998 13:44 Platforms International Corporation Corporate Progress Report -- II LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--Howard A. Foote, President and CEO of Platforms International Corporation (OTC: BB PLFM) announced today that Platforms is making significant strides towards the accomplishment of its strategic corporate objectives. This Press Release presents a summary and key excerpts of Mr. Foote's comments. NOVATEL: "Our meetings in Sweden proved very productive," reported Mr. Foote. "Our strategic alliance with NovaTel has drawn national attention, including a personal interview segment that was aired on Stockholm's TV-3, and a second interview which was featured in the local newspaper. As of this report, all parties have executed agreements in principle and attorneys for both sides are working diligently to finalize terms and conditions. A complicating factor-- a very positive development -- that resulted in additional work and some delays, was the need to modify and expand the structure of the original partnership agreement to accommodate additional strategic partners. This was an unexpected, but welcome development. It significantly strengthens and expands the scope and breadth of the original agreement. A delegation of our Swedish Strategic Partners is expected to arrived in Los Angeles within the next two weeks to complete their due diligence review and move forward with the finalization of Terms and Conditions." -------- A news release sure would clear this up. Events like the update to the web page should warrant information to shareholders. Since POM found this last night after 10 p.m., I would be inclined to believe news is coming very soon. Howard has always given us updates and then updated the web page. (By the way, did you notice the two typos?) POM - keep up the good DD, we appreciate it. Carol
