IATV- Response from Steve Harmon. To: steve harmon - analyst (706 ) From: hoffy Wednesday, Mar 24 1999 10:41PM ET Reply # of 756 Steve, I am also very interested in IATV. I have been holding since it was in the 2s not so long ago. I like the future for this company. What are your thoughts? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To: hoffy (718 ) From: steve harmon - analyst Friday, Mar 26 1999 8:50PM ET Reply # of 754 IATV - future oriented. If liberty media (tci) bought 10% for $5 million then I think a floor may be established there. At 4x that [$2/share] in six months I believe actv (iatv) looks frothy. I like its partnerships with cable and broadcast but iatv to me represents too much of a concept play, the hope of tv and net convergence. I'm not sure net and tv converge but parts of them may end up on the other platforms--to get there I believe could prove very expensive. maybe tci comes in with some cash infusion at some juncture ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for your response on IATV. I also believe the true convergence of the net and TV won't happen tomorrow, but there will be an evolutionary process to bring the two closer together. I think IATV's technology has many applications to be a part of this evolutionary process. They are establishing many alliances with big players (General Instrument, Scientific Atlantic, AT&T, Fox Sports, Liberty media group, Sun Microsystems, etc). I think they have tremendous potential. A major investor would definitely solidify their position.
