another company starting with "A": AST Research that's it. Even the name escpaed me. Remember Coleco which aslo got in the compuetr field and lasted about 3 months so to speak?

sold aoljul100puts at 7 1/2. (aol closed at 125 11/16) my brokerage firm's requirements:

25% of underlying stock: 25% time $ 125 for aol = $ 3,125 /contract
plus underlying option price to buy back = $ 750
minus out of the money amount < $ 2,500 >

$ 1,375/contract

Not bad. And that proceeds go to the money market account earning interest!
