Brain

"Again, this is discussion of AOL the company, not AOL the stock"

You've been watching Dennis Miller on HBO I see.He goes on a rant every Friday, course he gets the big bucks for his act. What are you getting for yours?I think most of the posters here are really only concerned about what AOL does to enhance shareholder value, not the operating system.AOL has only to be a great stock, which it is,for the posters on this thread to love it.

Dear Sponge:
I did not click on your links, but I want
to say, "give me my aol or give me death"
both the stock and the company.
I LOVE my buddy list and chatting with my
buds online. My 13 year old loves it too.
I live in a chicago sub. and I get decent
conections and not many busy signals.
When TCI gets it together to get me @home,
I'll anti up for that and an exta 10 bucks
to keet my AOL!
Regards,
Andy Richter

I gave details in April on why AOL (at $180) is a doomed company. Congrats shorters!

My fanatical warnings and criticism of AOL was regarded as blasphemy here on SI, but I knew a sound argument stands up under pressure.

Here is my original post when we came within days of nailing that top at the end of March. Congrats all AOL shorters! (or longs who took profits!)

beta.siliconinvestor.com

AOL was a textbook loaded boat short after unwarranted gains due to all the herd-like traders, investors, and fund managers who accumulated AOL as a 'safe internet blue chip'.
Safe?? Only if you dont consider a $180 BILLION ISP overvalued!

I suggest we now begin to cover portions of our AOL shorts once it goes sub $100.
