The wall street journal reported today that eBay is making room on there site for Canadians and British Auctions, it makes sense that eBay would take over Bid.Com.

1. Bid.Com is the first site of its kind designed for Canadians with Canadian product, full Canadian warranties and no cross-border hassles.

2. Bid.Com has introduce itself as a International Company.

Bid .Com would be a big expansion for eBay into the Canadian market with a operating history from Canadians, they are our neighbors it only makes good sense.

Bid.Com is the largest e-commerce auction site in Canada

Ebay will have it all / the largest Auction site US/Canada

<"An addendum to my previous post, bid.com is the premiere internet company in Canada, serving 50 - 60 million of you Canadians up north.">

Hmmm, just a little factual correction....I think we're up to
30 million Canadians. :-) But of course you're right about the rest of your post. Many US companies come up here, establish a presence and gobble up Canadian companies. Or some, prehaps like e-bay, simply do it long-distance like Monaco was just gobbled up by Ralph Lauren 2 weeks ago or so.
