True if you are an employee when the company decides to give out options to everybody. Not true if you were hired later and the co uses options as an employment incentive. Q is almost 15 yr old company.

Two kinds there. One you get when hired and this is sort of random, and ones they hand out when there are performance reviews, which are done en mass every 6 months to a selected few, so there could be literally a bunch of poeple wiht option payments vesting on the same day. Usually done in late March, early April and mid to late October.

I think these are the class that they are speaking about.
