Roth, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intasys Corporation ("the Company"), announced that the Company will shortly commence the marketing of comprehensive, flexible computer systems that will enhance the ability of a wide range of corporate clients to conduct business over the Internet. The Company is in the process of forming a subsidiary, Intasys Electronic Systems, Inc. ("IES"), that will build on the Company's expertise in developing billing and customer care software solutions that have proven to be mission-critical competitive tools for multi-service providers in the telecommunications and utilities industries. Among the distinguishing features of the Intasys billing system is the Company's propriety rating engine, based on user-defined units, that the Company believes is unique in North America. The Intasys rating engine is not industry-specific and is capable of computing usage charges for all types of goods and/or services. Philip Davis, President, commented: "Our new Intasys subsidiary, IES, will market software systems that are adaptable to almost any business world-wide engaging in e-commerce transactions. We already operate successfully in one of the most transaction-intensive industries, telecommunications, by supplying our clients with cost-effective and functional information solutions. This new family of products and services will apply our advanced telecommunications technology to other industries." The superior qualities of those systems will be incorporated in the Company's new e-commerce software endeavors." Intasys Electronic Systems, Inc. will provide business with complete turnkey electronic solutions including business-to-business systems, business-to-consumer systems and web site design.
