P/E is another one of those terribly flawed metrics which is used by the naive.

Agreed. I think we're arguing at cross-purposes by now, and CW if we ever sat down and had a drink in real life, we'd agree on a lot more about the flaws in the metrics of the market today. Too bad voice inflections and body language can't make it over the internet.
