Re: Rumor I can't imagine why EMC would be interested in APM. They are in completely different lines of business. If EMC were interested in buying someone in the disk sector (which I doubt), the obvious candidate would be SEG since they are a major supplier to EMC. EMC has made acquisitions in the past and will no doubt do so again in the future, but I expect them to be shopping more in the network/switch and data management software aisles of the Wall Street supermarket.
