Michelle <... what a dope> In the market, people take turns being dopes. Haven't you had your turn at some point? I know I have. I have less patience with big ego's than I used to. I think I know what brilliant people 'look' like, or people with other noble characteristics. It is not the image which jumps to mind when I think of net investment. Imagination, which is also a wonderful quality, is more likely to characterize the successful net investor -- being able to imagine the potential of something really big before others see it -- perhaps this has been William's strength. Unfortunately, imagination can also separate you from reality -- the price of net stocks reflects an abundance of imagination and very little reality. The risk of course is that, at some point, the market might shift back to reality as an investment yard stick -- which makes AMZN worth????

>>Same story from him, "only the really stupid people are making money in this mkt" (paraphrase)... what a dope.

Paraphrased loosely to say the least!!

What he said was that this market has him baffled because it is breaking all the fundamental and technical rules. He said that it reminds him of the phrase, "Only fools are dancing. However the bigger fools are watching."
