Vickie, thanks for the server article: IDC said this can be traced to the increased popularity of comparatively cheap servers based on Intel processors, sales of which jumped 15 percent in the fourth quarter, compared with just a 3 percent increase in sales of high-end RISC-based servers running Unix. Further, revenue for servers running Windows NT increased by 28 percent. I wonder why this kind of news doesn't hammer SUNW, like any inkling of a negative trend can hammer INTC. Big MO, I guess (momentum). Scumbria, looks like NT may become the next VHS, and Unix the next Betamax, where VHS was supposedly inferior, but won out because of other factors. What was that epithet of yours, NT sucks? Looks like it might be "good enough" because the hardware it runs on is so much cheaper than is RISC hardware. Tony
