Where is the money going to go if it doesn't go in the market?
Commodities are through the floor, fixed income is paying what 4-6% ?(I don't know)It may seem poor, but with inflation so low the true return isn't bad....just seems terrible when you keep hearing the return on stocks on the nightly news. I read in WSJ Asians are coming here in droves to put money in our stock market because they have lost faith in their own. Europe is very nervous right now. I read an article that says that stocks like Amazon are sucking money out of South America. It seems like the Market has become a firestorm and its sucking up everything out there. Maybe the majority of stocks are going sideways because of the increasing amount of money held by traders going 100% cash at the end of the day. Is that counted as in the market? I'm sure that float is somewhere. It seems the one place price inflation is showing up is in San Francisco/Bay Area real estate. No surprise there, all that funny money has to go somewhere.
