HiFUD INCOMPATIBILITY!
I just wanted to let everyone know that Sony's HiFUD is incompatible with everything (as of now - if you can't buy it, it's not exactly compatible is it?) What a joke, suspending shipments within weeks of product release.

ita.sel.sony.com

Sony used to make good products. I just returned one of their digital AV receivers because I had to unplug it every couple of days to reset its brain.

Sony "Engineering"... What a laugh!

Oh yeah, in the 4 years I've been using Zips, I've long formatted once and didn't really need to that time.

<<Zip250 INCOMPATIBILITY!

I just heard that the Zip250 CANNOT Long Format a 100MB disk.... SO MUCH FOR BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY! >>

you can long format the Zip250 disks - so go buy a 250 disk to long format. generally only technicians use this form, so if they wanted to long format a 100 disk (decode the data), they wouldn't waste their time; they'd just buy a new 250 disk. if they were looking to have all that fun and waste all that time they'd long format the 250.
