NASDAQ Advance - 1,152 volume 1894865
NASDAQ Decline - 2881 volume 7616314
NYSE ADvance - 661 volume 1119701 Bad data or was that the down day?
NYSE Declines - 2338 volume 6825763
AMEX Advance - 158 volume 24185
AMEX declines - 413 volume 309956

I have reuters data service. I can get 12 years online but I collected data before that from one of the exchanges internet sites before that although it was always delayed doing it that way if I missed the numbers from NBR. When it is an emergency, I have evn walked into my brokers office under the pretence of some trivial issue just so I could browse the WAll street journal and get the numbers from the day before. <g> I have iot automatically updated in my database for the sole purpose of computing TRIN. I haven't found TRIN anywhere else so I just have the Advance and decline data go into my database, then I have a composite made of Advances divided by declines. This comes out as a chart on MetaStock. From that I have a formula Close divided by volume which = TRIN and it sums 5 days of data to make a data point. The result is on the MDA chart site for the NYSE but I also have them made for the NASDAQ, etc.

Did you ever get your formula worked out to where it shows anything useful?

Good Luck, Low number of posts this weekend on all the strings I follow so I guess everyone is in wait and see mode. Futures are only slightly down and overseas markets are unspectacular. I guess it is a case of hurry up and wait.
