OT: Peter, I feel your pain... My wifes computer is getting sold off to her mother and so she gets my computer. That leaves me with the heavy task of having to purchase a new PC. I've put some of the specs together: 500+ mhz K7 and motherboard 256 MB 200 mhz SDRAM 17"+ LCD monitor Voodoo3 3500 (short-lived, will be replaced later in the year) Soundblaster Live (need the NT support) Two 6.4 gb 7200 rpm hard drives using IDE promise raid (level 0) array Latest generation DVD drive Logitech cordless mouse 10/100 network card Onkyo sound system with Infinity speakers and subwoofer (current system) Video capture system capable of utilizing the raid array ATAPI Zip Drive (250 MB) Been practicing multiplayer half-life to kick Chip's butt.
