Bearded One, I don't think you are making good/relevant analogies there. The Junk Mail filter was a very useful advancement. All the court had to do was make Microsoft put something in (or if the allegations are true, take something out!) so that Blue Mountain emails would pass through the filter. That's all. They should not have mandated that the entire Junk Mail feature be removed from the product--by doing that, they are indeed meddling with software design.
