It means that if the most powerful currency and economy in the world should fail where does the world find a store for value. It means if the US$ fails why should any other world paper currency succeed. If gold can help stabilize world currencies use it. Do you worship the US$, do you think there is no way the world can survive with out it, do you think it is sacrilegious to support the god of all currencies with another and for some people a lesser currency. From what I have read here and other places the things that have been used to support the paper currencies have been force, manipulation, collusion, military power etc. and I'm not to sure how much longer this kind of support will work I would like to enjoy the pension I worked for and not see its value destroyed by Currency failures and if gold can help then use it. what else is there except gold. I was refering to those anti gold people that seem derive some sort strange pleasure from the turmoil they create on a pro gold thread I said I see these kind of people as a virus that feed off of their host with the intent in the end to destroy their host.
