VRI (Vastar) -- one of my past portfolio picks and a great deepwater US Gulf deepwter oil play -- is up almost 3 1/2 in wake of Arco deal. (VRI is owned in larger part by Arco.) big loosbrock.com

I'm one of those people rotating out of high tech stuff and into this sector after having lurked around here for about two months. Have taken positions with Fidelity and with OIL, RIG, and FLC. (Now you KNOW that its time to start bailing out if people like me are buying, right?) Half the time, I don't have a clue what you are discussing, but it's extremely informative - and I'm learning things I never knew before. Thought you should know that at least one of 'them' appreciates the information flow on this thread. Thanks, and keep it up!
