I concur. Large corporations probably would not be major buyers of eMachines for some of the reasons you cite.

However, eMachines does not intend to position itself in that segment. It wants the small business (probaly fairly small) and individual owner. I would like to see a breakdown by eMachines as to the sales of their different units by processor type. The reason that would be interesting to see is that several articles recently have said that small businesses are migrating toward Celeron processor based CPU's, not needing the additional power of the 512K PII cache or the newest PIII.

I don't know how this will affect DELL or even if it will have a material effect in the near-future. But it bears watching to see if the battlefield changes.
