I've been told that #9 just does not respond to ping request and the fact that it routes to SW, means it's not the problem....

I also got a Request time out on the hop past reg4-2.bctel.net. As far as I understand trace route an asterisk means that test failed royally. You can still have a connection to your site when an asterisk comes up. However I get 500ms plus for CSW site which is also brutal. Could someone more techy then me please post a better explaination about the asterisk and what we can do about it. I have tried reconnecting and nothing changes except the first couple hops.
