AOL's browser cannot load many of the sites I try to view, making research and surfing VERY frustrating.

weird, isn't aol using the msie browser? or should they use the netscape browser?

In all due respect...one's opinion, or one's experience is not necessarily that of others.....personally, it takes me less then a few seconds to sign onto AOL, I rarely get error messages or
" booted " as you say, and don't have any problem whatsoever surfing the web.

You sould like your just a very sour person....maybe you should become an AOL shareholder and put a smile on your face...JMHO.
