I have been at near max margin levels from December to about a week ago. finished rotating out of techs and 222% into oil mid February. I have more than tripled my NAV since December. Riding out of margin now, but NOT selling - the ride is just beginning. I expect a double from here on my holdings by next February.

BTW, I agree with you, it's definitrly not for the faint of heart. Many sleepless nights, but I was absolutely sure I was doing the right thing. All the valuable posts on this thread about Asia recovery and economic turmoil in the producing countries helped.

From Doom & Gloom to The Skys the Limit

What a difference six weeks can make.. With all the newcomers posting on this hallowed board, one can only speculate how many are monitoring the accumulated information, speculation and opinions available here. I have already been blasted on the YAHOO UFAB board because it hasn't climbed fast enough. Let's see from 6 1/4 on Feb 24th and 25th to 8 3/4 today. FORTY PERCENT in one month and the damn thing hasn't even warmed up yet. Not too shabby for a laggard. Go figure!

What surprises many is not that the trend has changed; but, how fast it moves when pessimism is transformed into DEMAND. Apparently it has been forgotten just how fast the OSX dropped last year. From 120+ to the mid 40s in less than 5 months.

There will obviously be volatility on the trend up; but, this bull is young and full of steam. I think my Christmas forecast of 60 in 90 days and triple digits by the end of 1999 may have been modest. I now expect triple digits by the end of August.

While the institutional favorites and the mid caps have led the way, I remain convinced the really big percentage gains will be with the small caps for those with stamina and the restraint to pass up modest profits to capture the elusive 3 and 4 baggers. I see FGI, GIFI & UFAB in the 30 to 45 range within six months. From individual bottoms to the ultimate tops, I still think the smallest of the three will post the biggest percentage gain; but, I shan't cry if I'm wrong. I'll be too busy shopping for my new boat. >VBG<

It is a real blast to no longer be among a tiny minority. >lg<

Let us all enjoy the voyage and be kind to each other.

Yahooooooooooo!!!!
YESSSSSS!!!
RIP to the fair haired boys who left the patch to trade elsewhere. Rewards come to those who are patient. Congrats to those of you who stayed the course.
It was pleasant to be out during the bust, but I missed the bottom. Typical of market timing.

OSX 100 or bust!

Thanks Slider for keeping the spirits up on this thread for the past year. Your DD has been rewarded.
Success is the best revenge.
