Chief,
I have been experiencing something very similar but not with two screens.Although they say after April 15,1999 they are eliminating the old tickers I think they have to do something to fix the new one.

Scenario-In the morning I clean my cache and the Java console and try to open the new canada/US Ticker. The screen says Illegal operation performed.I shut down and place one stock in portfolio 4 in Canada.I fire up the canadian Ticker with one version of stockwatch and minimize the screen.I then open a second copy of stockwatch and start the live ticker from portfoilo 1 which has Canadian and US.It works no problem as long as I go back and disconnect portfolio 4 and close it and close the copy of CSW I used to open it.

Unbelievably this is the only way I can get it running. Now if I minimize it and open net action the live ticker cuts out and I have to restart it or if I go to SI the same thing occurs. So when they eliminate the old ticker and I cannot operate it is my intention to go to MYTRACK and subscribe to Nasdaq Level 2 Platinum.I have had just about enough.
As a last ditch effort I am going to upgrade to 128MB DIMRAM and see if it helps but I doubt it will.

I have sent messages to CSW and have not heard back.I must say that Gerry did e-mail me and advised me to e-mail the problem.Done.Still the same.Time or Real-Time is money.

One other note---I have noticed Nasdaq Real time is about 4-6 minutes behind when the ticker is running. No damn good.

Nope, I don't know why this happens to you. When I double click that button my Ticker does not shut down. Are you able to start the Ticker on another screen.

Or is this just your sly way of trying to tell me that I should buy another monitor?
