John, the TDMA people are still muttering, but they have lost the war, from the input I have. There are still a lot of technical questions out there that I am not equipped to answer, but I think that the solutions in dispute will be built on top of the CDMA structure. The story of how CDMA beat out TDMA will go down with the classic story of Tesla vs Edison in the "Battle of the currents", at the turn of the century. Tesla is one of my Hero's.

Do we agree the qcom should get out of the phone (handset business) and concentrate on cdma improvements.

Oh, Yeah! It was a great move by QCOM to sell the handset business.
