Assuming US/NATO sends in ground troops to "pacify" the area: Serbs start a guerilla war against both US/NATO troops and KLA/Albanian regular troops (whatever is left). The US will have to start a counter-insurgency war for years and station occupation troops. The Greek, Turkish and Hungarian CANNOT participate in the invasion without escalating the conflict even further. The KLA/Albanian factions demand a greater Albania [include Albanian in Macedonia and Epirus (northern Greece)] and civil war breaks out between the two different tribes in Northern and Southern Albania proper. The Greeks will back the Orthodox Christian Albanians in the South, etc., etc. ............ The Greeks and Turks in Cyprus start their own local war while Hungarians in Voivodina ask for autonomy. Hungary (NATO ally) supports them and the Hungarians in Romania jump into the fray ... These scenarios unfold gradually and continue simultaneously. What will the pre-kindergarten idiots in the WH do? They even don't know what they have started by opening this Pandora box (in self-denial and playing golf. A good Monica will come in handy these days as part of the ad hoc national emergency team. She is a WH and Pentagon special operations expert anyway.) P.S. Will China move against Taiwan while the US Navy and armed forces are locked in the Balkans?
