I really don't understand..It is composed of private banks but it is
not a free enterprise..
the fed tries to control inflation etc..I don't get it..
what do you think the federal reserve tries to do..
If the bankers wanted to make money..why would they settle for
six percent on their money
If you were to find out that the private institutions were controlled by one person ie a rockefeller..for instance..then you would have an interesting point..
but then again..haven't you heard the expression of the bond vigilantees..
in other words..the market won't buy the fed's rulings if they aren't
in line with the market..
the fed can't talk down rates if the market doesn't believe that inflation isn't on us..
I don't understand..what kind of power are you attributing to the federal reserve
what am I missing
