I believe that FCM has a really good niche for now. Success certainly does invite competition. My brainy nephew the (almost) MSEE says that the future belongs to ATM and SONET which provides a bigger and more efficient pipe for data than TCP/IP. TCP/IP says my nephew, has too much overhead. We also know that there is an evolving newer faster Internet standard.

However for today, FCM has the right product at the right time and the right price. We've also seen a continual evolution of the FCM product line which is good. The trick is to keeping your technology current.

In the past someone asked about the relationship of FNET to FCM. FCM will retain an interest (maybe 60 - 80%) in FNET, while the rest will become part of the IPO. This should benefit FCM in a couple of ways. First, it will produce OPM to finance FNET's growth. Today FCM finances that growth, directly and indirectly. Second, the increasing value of FNET shares benefits FCM shareholders.

To summarize, I am optimistic and predict a FCM price of 10 by year's end. I've also put my money where my mouth is.
