Cars are *extremely* safe compared to how dangerous they would be without all the innovations and work done in the last few decades. Work is being done constantly to improve safety. Can you name a major innovation in cars in the last 10 years that made them more dangerous to the 'careless' driver? What if I asked this question about Microsoft innovations over the last 10 years?
