Checked your theory out with a big-time Merrill broker who was very impressed with the announcement. It makes the whole royalty stream of revenue a reality.
By the way, a good source told me that the sound cards have a 50% margin.

Gator,

It is excellent news. For investors, it signals that the company is well-positioned to negotiate licensing deals from a position of strength. For investors, as well as those more interested in near-immediate returns, it needs to be noted that the only other e-commerce company with patent protection is Priceline.com, and they did rather well today.

Gator, You are, of course, absolutely correct! The royalties will be a major source of revenue, one of the six that BII management has targeted and continues to work towards.

There will be a brief time where others will wonder whether the patent will hold up in a true retail and, ultimately, court situation. However, given level heads all will realize that taking BII's technology and paying small royalties is much better than creating your own technology ($$ and time) as well as being challenged in court.

So, here's to BII Management. Again, they have demonstrated that their business plan is appropriate and doable!
