yes, i have those challenges, and I've resigned myself to accept this as a way of trading although I shouldn't have to. BTW, been told it's my problem as well so I feel your frustrations.

MBT has had problems that have been designated as a NASD situation, maybe so, however, I have made immediate calls to competitors who did not have this problem...so I've just about given up complaining. truth of the matter, these same companies i've called have their own challenges as well. so, who knows...

Remedies...

rapid fire on the buy/sell button until you get to confirm icon, downside however, is your quotes are probably delayed as well...start a new page with minimum stocks...reboot...place a telephone order while trying, as it may be quicker than all the aforementioned...new isp...adsl..isdn...cable...forget daytrading...think happy thoughts...

>>"not sending trade to server - incorrect fields"<<

I'm just curious -- I've never gotten that message -- what's it supposed to mean? Townsend must have an interpretation for it, eg. under what circumstances it arises...

Even if the problem is at your end, MB should help you find the cause -- that's what you are paying them for.

I've heard they have a computer "guru" who works there and is available after trading hours if you ask for him specifically -- I can't remember his name.

May I ask what kind of system you use -- ISP, computer, O/S? Is there a typical set of circumstances that gives rise to the message?

"incorrect fields"? Yeah I get is ALL THE TIME. I have to close down and come back on. Sometimes it's so bad I need to do a cold boot first.

Thanks for the tip on using a market order.

How about the "no accounts" error? I can SEE my positions in the position minder, yet I can not sell because the system says I am flat "do you want to short the stock?"
